Hela Moksha Villa – Ayurvedaklinik Sri Lanka
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all stays, treatments, bookings, and other services provided by Moksha Villa Ayurvedic Clinic in Sri Lanka. By making a booking, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms.
2. Booking and Payment Terms
Deposit:
Your booking becomes binding once a deposit of 25 % of the total cost of the booked Ayurveda program has been received in our account in Sri Lanka. The deposit must be paid no later than three months prior to arrival. Our bank details will be provided with your booking confirmation.
Final Payment:
The remaining balance must be transferred no later than one month before arrival. Alternatively, the balance can be paid in cash on the day of arrival, subject to prior arrangement. Credit card payments are not accepted.
Bookings Less Than Three Months Before Arrival:
For bookings made less than three months prior to arrival, a deposit of 25% is due immediately (within 14 days). The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
Bookings Less Than 30 Days Before Arrival:
For bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full amount is due immediately. The booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
All payments should be made via bank transfer to the designated account of Hela Moksha Ayurveda Clinic in Sri Lanka. International transfer fees and currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the paying guest. International guests may alternatively use services such as Wise or Revolut. All associated fees and currency conversion costs must be borne by the guest. Payments are made directly to our bank account.
Proof of Payment:
If you choose to pay in cash, please bring a proof of transfer or payment confirmation with you.
3. Cancellation Policy
Up to 60 days 15 % of the program price
59 – 30 days 30 % of the program price
29 – 14 days 50 % of the program price
13 – 3 days 75 % of the program price
2 days – no-show 100 % (non-refundable)
Changes (e.g., travel dates, length of stay):
Free Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. That’s why we offer a one-time, immediate rescheduling of your stay within one year at no extra cost, provided your preferred date is available.
This allows you to plan your Ayurveda retreat flexibly, while keeping your booking secure and ensuring a relaxed start to your program.
Early Departure
In case of early termination of the program or non-utilization of individual services, no refund will be provided.
Travel Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend taking out an appropriate travel cancellation insurance to protect yourself against unexpected cancellation costs.
4. Arrival, Stay & Extension

Your room will be available upon arrival on the day of check-in.

Breakfast and/or lunch on the day of arrival are included.

Stay extension: EUR 55 per person/night, including all meals.

If you wish to extend your stay, please contact us in advance. We will check availability.
5. Medical Information & Treatment

Individual treatments are provided by our Ayurveda physician after your initial consultation.

There is no entitlement to specific treatments if they are medically contraindicated.

An Ayurveda program cannot be undertaken during pregnancy.

Contagious diseases exclude treatment – by booking, you confirm that you are free of such conditions.

Treatments do not replace conventional medical therapy for serious illnesses.

Medications prescribed in your home country may only be reduced or discontinued after consulting a doctor.

Our recommendations do not exempt guests from personal responsibility for their health and actions.
6. Liability

We are only liable for treatment risks, allergic reactions, or complications in cases of proven intent or gross negligence.

No liability is accepted for typical local environmental conditions (e.g., ceremonies, temple festivals) or other environmental factors (e.g., animals, odors).

For services provided by third parties (e.g., transfers), Moksha Villa is liable only within the scope of organization, not execution.

Services of the program that are not utilized cannot be refunded.

Guests are responsible for the execution of their travel, even if organized by Moksha Villa, including transfers from the airport back to the hotel.
7. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed exclusively in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the provisions of the Sri Lankan Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA 2022).
